Overview

CardShare.ai is an AI group greeting card tool for teams, families and friend groups. Someone describes the card or uploads a reference photo, the AI designs the cover and drafts the opening message, and a single link lets everyone add their own note. It targets the occasions that normally involve ten follow-ups: birthdays, farewells, work anniversaries, retirements and thank yous.

Key Features
  • AI cover design from a sentence or a photo. At cardshare.ai/create, the creator fills in a To field, a From field and optional context such as "Turns 30 on Thursday. Loves botanical illustration and long train rides," then hits Generate card. The AI produces both a cover image and a headline, and either one can be regenerated as many times as the creator likes.
  • Tone chips that set the voice. Five preset tones (Heartfelt, Roast, Dad jokes, Hype and Epic) steer how the drafted message sounds. The site promises the writing keeps "a light touch" and is "never saccharine," which matters when a roast tone could easily go too far.
  • One signing link, no accounts needed. Signers open a URL, write their note and can drop in a GIF. There is no app to download and no sign-up for the people signing, which removes the usual friction that kills group cards halfway through.
  • Place-anywhere signatures. Each person positions their note wherever they want on the card, with drag, resize, rotate and GIF support, so the finished piece looks assembled rather than pasted together.
  • A Slack app with a slash command. Installing the bot adds /cardshareai to any channel. A form opens inline for card type, recipient name, tone and context, and the AI then posts a card link back into the channel so the team can sign it, or it can go straight to the recipient.
  • Thirteen occasion templates. Browse covers birthday, work anniversary, wedding, promotion, thank you, farewell, kudos, retirement, get well soon, sympathy, new baby, graduation and holiday cards, so nobody has to start from a blank page.
Use Cases

A team lead who learns on Wednesday that a colleague's last day is Friday needs a farewell card signed by eleven people across two time zones. Instead of chasing DMs, they run /cardshareai in Slack, pick a tone and paste the signing link into the channel. Everyone adds a line from their phone over lunch, and the recipient gets one finished card by email the same afternoon.

A family group chat works the same way for a grandmother's 80th birthday. One person uploads an old photo, the AI builds the cover around it, and cousins who never answer texts still sign because the link opens in any browser.

What makes CardShare.ai stand out is the pairing of AI drafting with a link-first signing flow, which collapses the two slowest parts of a group card into minutes.
