What a dofollow backlink actually does

A backlink is a link from another site to yours. Dofollow means it passes SEO value — telling Google your site is trustworthy.

Passes real authority

A dofollow link tells Google to pass ranking value (“link juice”) from our indexed page to yours — one of its strongest ranking signals.

Builds your domain trust

Over time a permanent link from a real, relevant directory lifts your whole domain’s authority — not just the page it points to.

Discovered by Google & AI

Our directory is crawled and indexed, so your listing gets found faster — and cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

Quality beats quantity: one permanent, editorial link from a real directory does more for rankings than dozens of spammy links — and it keeps working for you, with no recurring fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it free to list my product?
Yes. The Free Listing gives you a permanent listing and a dofollow backlink at no cost. In return it requires a "Featured on TheGoods.tools" badge on your website (removing the badge delists you). The Premium Listing plan requires no badge.
What do I get with the Premium Listing?
Premium Listing gives you a full, SEO-optimized listing page, indexed instantly, with a permanent dofollow backlink and no badge required.
What is a dofollow backlink, in plain English?
A backlink is simply a link from another website to yours. "Dofollow" means it passes SEO value (often called "link juice") to your site, which tells Google your site is trustworthy. "Nofollow" links do not pass that value. Every link you get from us is dofollow.
Will this actually help me rank higher on Google?
Backlinks are one of Google's strongest ranking signals. A permanent dofollow link from a relevant, indexed directory page passes authority to your site, which over time can help your rankings and domain authority. SEO is a long game, not an overnight switch, but a permanent backlink is a durable asset that keeps working for you.
How is this different from cheap backlinks or link farms?
Our links come from a real, curated directory that people and AI models actually read, not a spammy link farm. Relevant, editorial-style backlinks are what genuinely help SEO; low-quality bulk links can get you penalized by Google and hurt your rankings.
Does your directory get read by AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity?
Yes. Our directory is actively crawled by AI models including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. They pull product details from your listing, so being listed helps your product get cited in AI answers, not just ranked on Google.
I'm not technical. Can I still submit my product?
Absolutely. Submitting takes a few minutes: paste your URL, add a short description, and pick a category. On paid plans our AI writes an SEO-optimized listing for you. No coding or SEO knowledge required.
Is this a one-time payment or a subscription?
It's a one-time payment. Your listing and backlinks are permanent with no recurring fees, and on paid plans there's no badge to maintain. Pay once, keep the SEO value forever.
What kind of backlink do I get?
You get a high-quality, permanent dofollow backlink from a real, indexed directory page. Dofollow links tell search engines like Google that your site is trusted, helping improve your domain authority and search rankings.
Do I need to add a backlink to my website?
Only on the Free Listing, which requires a permanent "Featured on" badge that links back to us. The Premium Listing plan needs no backlink at all.
How fast is my product published?
Premium Listing submissions are approved and indexed instantly. Free listings are reviewed and published within 14 days.
How soon will I see SEO results?
Your listing is published and indexable right away, but SEO takes time. Search engines usually need a few weeks to crawl, index, and factor a new backlink into your rankings. AI tools often pick up your listing sooner.
How long is my product listed for?
Your listing is permanent. Once published it stays in our directory indefinitely, providing long-term SEO and AI-visibility value with no recurring fees.
Can I update my listing later?
Yes. Just email us at [email protected] with the changes you'd like and we'll update your listing for you.
What happens after I complete the payment?
After payment you're automatically redirected to a success page, your product is verified instantly and published to the directory immediately, and you receive a confirmation email.
Do you offer refunds?
Because we provide immediate value through instant listing and permanent backlinks, we generally do not offer refunds. If you have a specific issue, please contact our support team.
What content is not allowed?
We do not accept listings related to cryptocurrency, adult content, gambling, or any other illegal or harmful content. Such content will be removed without a refund.
