Independent

No pay-to-win rankings. Recommendations are ours, and any affiliate or own listing is disclosed.

Ranked on merit

We weigh features, price, and real trade-offs — not marketing claims or ad spend.

Hands-on

We actually use the tools and keep pricing and details current as they change.

Built for discovery

Structured to be found by people and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Why we exist

Every time we went looking for a new tool, we hit the same wall: sponsored “top 10” lists where the ranking just followed the biggest affiliate payout, directories stuffed with dead links, and reviews written by people who had clearly never opened the product.

So we built the directory we wished existed. We test hands-on, track pricing and features as they change, and rank on merit. When a listing is our own or an affiliate, we say so plainly.

The goal is simple: be the first, most honest stop when you research a tool to grow your business — and a place where makers get discovered on quality, not ad budgets.

Frequently asked questions

What is TheGoods.tools?
TheGoods.tools is a website review directory where businesses, startups, SaaS products, and online services get listed and reviewed by AI. Every listing includes a dedicated review page with a dofollow backlink to boost your SEO.
Is it free to list my website?
Yes. The free plan gives you a dedicated review page with a dofollow backlink and an AI-generated review. In exchange, you add our badge with a dofollow link on your website. Premium plans are available if you prefer not to add the badge or want enhanced features.
How does a listing on TheGoods.tools improve my SEO?
Every listing includes a permanent dofollow backlink from our directory. Dofollow backlinks pass link equity to your website, which improves your domain authority and helps you rank higher on Google. Our directory has a growing Ahrefs Domain Rating, making each backlink more valuable over time.
What is Ahrefs Domain Rating and why does it matter?
Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR) measures the strength of a website's backlink profile on a scale from 0 to 100. Backlinks from higher-DR sites carry more SEO value. As our DR grows, every backlink from our directory becomes more powerful for your search rankings.
How do I submit my website?
Go to our Submit page, choose a free or premium plan, and paste your website URL. Our AI generates a detailed review of your site. You can edit the review before publishing. Once live, your listing includes a permanent dofollow backlink.
What do you accept, and what gets rejected?
We accept real, working products that provide genuine value. We reject AI slop, thin or spammy sites, offline products, and anything in prohibited categories. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing.
Can I claim and edit my listing?
Yes. After submitting, you can verify ownership to claim your listing. Once claimed, only you can edit it — keeping your information accurate and secure.
How does the AI review work?
Our AI analyzes your website's design, content, performance, and user experience. It generates an honest, detailed review that highlights strengths and areas for improvement. You can edit the review before it goes live. The high-quality content helps your listing get cited by AI search tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
What is the badge requirement for the free plan?
The free plan requires you to place our small badge with a dofollow link on your website. This is a fair exchange — you get a dofollow backlink from us, and we get one from you. Premium plans don't require a badge.
